DIY Nursery

on

In planning Baby Jones’ room, my desire to DIY has really kicked up a few notches. I started by thinking about materials I already had from other projects and thought about how I could incorporate them into something cute and unconventional from their original uses. My starting point (of course) was Pinterest. It may sound like I’m obsessed with Pinterest and that’s because I am! I love that ever-changing online scrapbook of DIY projects as if I created the platform myself.

When I thought that I may be having a boy, I considered doing a nontraditional color scheme; however, now that I know that I’m having a girl, my concept is totally cliche with lots of pink everywhere. Here are a few really cute and easy Pinterest ideas that I am incorporating into Baby J’s nursery:

Sequin Monogram Letter DIY

Glam Sequin Monogram Letter DIY | CatchMyParty.com

Found on catchmyparty.com

Decorative Tassel Garland

Found on Amazon.com, currently sold out but here are some alternatives.

Both of these small decorative touches can be completed in less than two hours and are a fun way to bring personality to any room. I’m still searching for more mini projects to complete and I can’t wait to see how everything comes together! What are some DIY projects that you want to start?
