The last few days have been extremely eventful! Thursday was my 30th birthday, Friday was my baby shower at work and Saturday was my outside of work baby shower. These events offered the boost of energy I needed to propel me into the last month or so of pregnancy. Never in a million years did I imagine that I would be spending my “dirty 30” almost 8 months pregnant but it’s such a fun adventure leading to our little Journey.

My shower from work was so adorable and housed a cake with my favorite saying. My friend Akilah and a few other coworkers did an amazing job decorating and providing cute pink midday snacks for the gathering. I got some amazing gifts that I know Journey will love!

My Saturday baby shower was hosted by my mother in law JJ, my friends Ashlee, Kayla Kim, and Madelyn. It featured a princess theme with a pink and gold color palette.

To go along with the theme, I made sure to have an outfit fit for a queen… which was really a goddess style prom dress that I got at a great price from JcPenney! Another fun day with more of my favorite people. The outpouring of gifts and well wishes was overflowing! Journey is so blessed already.
